It only takes one mistake, one sin to endeavor
Then you have to pay for it forever
Daylight and wide awake
This way the pain is easier to take
When the night lurks over the sky
The memories that come make you want to die
You stay up late not wanting sleep to come to you
There is nothing else you can do
No escaping the fright
No hiding in the light
Why do the memories hurt so much
Why do I so badly miss her touch
The nightmares are just too much to bear
Life just isnt fair
