tonight is a sweet breath of wind - twilight wind snoring like an angel
(foot hangs from cloud)
dreams suspended in the cerulean firmament
my mass on the moon is my mass on the world
and radiance zips by carelessly - for it sees not my stare
(staring at stars)
did I ever tell you that you reminded me of rainbows rising from fireplaces
and ashes saluting the sun? do you
remember when we believed in aliens
(I bet you, you bet me, that we could)
tomorrow I'll miss out on the morning
the fairy life of horse trails and red parkas and children - whisper low
you catch traces in the evening - when the wind blows - it returns to you
(in the night, I mean)
cumulus
endless
forever young and gentle
if we sleep on lamb's wool even the cherubim who sleep above on
soft-gold-tinged-billows of haze will envy us.
so don't look up - look far
(but for now just close your eyes.)

Beautiful work. This is worded so well, vivid and yet a bit mysterious. Excellent.
