She fell so far
since he dropped her.
Looking back,
What has taken her?
Marks all along her wrists,
pulsating veins to mark Angel's entrance,
and empty beer bottles underneath her...
her own bed of addictions.
Eyes so dark, foggy and irritated
Pale face, unforgiving lips.
Couldn't cry if she wanted to
Couldn't cry if she needed to.
Blood droplets on her floor
beneath her broken body
The bags under her eyes,
are illusions from her lifeless soul
