The war you could have lost.

You smile,
As you look down at me.
My arms are getting tired
My body is getting heavy
Any minute I am going under
Drowning in my deep sea of pain and tears.
And still you stand above me
Looking down with evil flickering within your eyes.
Compressing your laughter,
Compressing you happiness to my misery.
In your hands you hold my life preserver,
The power to help,
The power to save,
But instead
You tell me to work harder,
And throw me a ball-and-chain.
I see that you're superior
your eyes will never let me forget,
And you continue to hate me,
Worry I'll take it all away
Worry I'll take your spot that you so fully-fill.
So you plan your scheme
Pretend to care, pretned to love
All the time with your fingers crossed
Waitting for my failure.
As I go under,
I see you,
Your big grin spread across your face.
As a tear rolls down your cheek,
You realize you held the power
The oppertunity to throw me my break
And pull me to safty.
You throw it down into my hand sewn sea,
But its too late.
You smile,
For you have won.

'Drowning in my deep sea of pain and tears.' I loved that line it spoke a lot to me and sounds a lot like me. This was really good I can assure you I'll be looking for more of your stuff.
