She Tries

Everynight she sits alone,
Tear drenched to the bone,
She recalls her day,
And thinks they'll pay.
Everyday she goes to school,
Everyday she tries to be cool,
So she stands in the crowd,
Looking up at the clouds,
And she wonders,
And she thinks.
Endless words scream in her head,
As she tries to sleep in bed,
The pain overwhelms her,
Why can't things be the way they were?
She tries so hard,
In this world we call home,
But she is forever scarred,
And will forever moan,
Her cries of pain,
For she can no longer maintain, her anger!
