Why does she hate me
All I ever wanted was for me and her to be
All I ever wanted was to give her my love
and be her fallen angel from above
All I ever wanted was to prove to her I'd never put her through harm
and hold her all night in my arms
All I ever wanted was to be in her life
but I might as well die someone hand me a knife
All I ever wanted was to let her be my queen
and give her everything
All I ever wanted was to make her mine
and be with her until the end of time
All I ever wanted was for her to know that I care
and no matter what I'll always be there
All I ever wanted was for her to know that with me she has a home
but now she's left me all alone
Why did I ever give her my heart
because now it's just torn apart

have. That's just the way life is...
