Intoxicated
Dancing on this mountain
Surrounded by lost days
Forgotten time
Letting the wind flow unto me
As I gaze onto forward horizons
Saddness whispering bitter nothings
That run through rivers of my blood
Tears of sorrow flying backward
With the wind
Slowly
Slowly letting go
As I wander down this mountain
Leaving a sad darkness behind
I think of the times spent
With you
Closing my eyes as the thoughts
Envelope me
And fade silently away
As this new dawn
Takes a hold of me
I grasp back
Grabbing blindly into the faded memories
Slipping just one memory out of the darkness
Tucking it away
I will remember you
Even if with just one memory
I will love you all the same
Never forgotten
My Kristen
My love
You are eternally the silver gleams
Of moonlight
That twinkle down upon me
As I dance at night
Your name forever echoeing
Through all creation
An everlasting beauty
Cascading deep within me
This
Is you
My dearest Kristen
With just one memory
You're here beside me

hopefully she knew all of this. quite a transition, your words have captured some of the feeling, but yes, words can never capture all emotion...so many readers would drown in it. |
