My dreams repeat each night,
Including no terror or fright.
I escape to the mystic place of my mind,
Where there's no such thing as mean or unkind.
I'm married to a kind,
Our castle has every kind of wing.
So far, we have one beautiful child,
The hate here is very mild.
I'm the queen of the land,
I ask for a unicorn on command.
I always dreamed of having one,
They seem to bring so much fun.
I'm care-free here in my world,
My pain is gone--it's all unfurled.
Everyone in this glistening place,
Rises above when they see my face.
Until I wake the next day,
The fun is over, no more play.
I wait for the moment in time when I awaken,
To see my dream will be real and my old world shaken.
Sleep well believers of my soul,
Wait until I finish paying my toll.
Until that day I can fly like a bird,
And come back to you, promising my word.
Run away unicorn of love,
Follow, forever, that flying dove.
Wait for me at heaven's gate,
I promise I'll try not to be late.
