Looking back from winters chill,
To summer days now so unreal,
Of the warm nights, you and me,
Feeling wanted, loved, yet free.
The sand that gets twixt the toes,
As lovers wander to who knows,
Hands held as nerves say love,
A feeling forever from above.
The cold bites at those hands now,
Seems a lifetime ago yet somehow,
I’d like the days back with me here,
Just to show you how much I care.

Jonte, this is so beautiful!!! I love it.... esp the secong verse...:>)
Hey..today I found a poem I started to write that first night we spoke... it was in my school bag..which I hadn't opened for 3 wks...since school closed... maybe I'll finish it and post it..or send to you..ok...
