I'm Still Here

Contributed by living_dead_girl on Monday, 20th June 2005 @ 06:49:18 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I'm standing here in front of you
Can you see me now?
I'm calling out your name
Can you hear me now?
I'm jumping into your arms
Can you feel me now?
Am I still real to you?
Or have I been forgotten?
I'm still here
I'm not dead yet
Left over from the day before
Still living, breathing, thriving for you
Do you remember me now?
Do you recognize me yet?
My voice, my touch, my love
I'm still here
I'm still alive
Left over from the day before

I like all of your writes because it seems kinda like you're pining over someone. I pined over someone for about 5 years and that's when my best writing came out of me. Now that I'm content with everything around me, I can't write to save my life. That's why I have posted most of my older stuff on here because they're better than things I write these days.
Good job, Rikki

I can really relate to this. Feeling invisible to someone who means everything to you can be so devistating. This was really good!

always hope and believe in your dreams, it helps you to cope with the trivial things.
