story of the grave

Contributed by hardrocker15198916 on Monday, 20th June 2005 @ 12:21:55 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

i cant make this what i want it to be
fading inside to be the death of me
the world isnt mine but part of the heart
letting me go falling apart
echoeing here, screams in my head
remembering a woman who i think is dead
going to her grave i want her back
she isnt the one i wish to lack
i can see her smile and hear her voice
the cry of the girl, fated a choice
her shattered life layed there beneath
and to her all alone i choose to speak

"i love you and miss you, come home
cause how can i live here all alone
i cant remember how to live life
plaese come home my dearest wife
how dare you god! its all your fault
you took her and now i must hault
cauze my tears will not stop to hear
the last drop of my wifes tears
take me too i cannot live
i have nothing more to give"

and he just sat there praying
and beneath him his wife laying
amd i was over my sisters grave
oh i remember she was brave
to say good bye and know it was true
dont worry sis i remember you
i went to the man and said so lightly
" see her face it shines brightly"
he looked to me confused
" my sister died from abuse
and your wife can hear you now"
but he wondered how
" she knows that you miss her
and she knows that you want her
but she wants you to live
cause you have love to give"

he stood up and hugged me
and said goodbye
and i too left the grave
to lay in mine
