BRING UPON ME (My Own Death)

Contributed by blue_angel on Monday, 20th June 2005 @ 12:55:02 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

a solemn expression of pain on my face
as i slide the knife through my skin
arms bloodied, wrists torn
as i slowly sink into my sin
salty drops of sweat form on my head
as i pull the knife from my thigh
the end has come, its over now
a crisp red tear falls from my eye
you dont care, you never did
i slowly choke on my cold breath
and with this knife held in my palm
i bring upon me my own death

U could and you'd probably die but that want make it mean any one doesn't care.
I'd care but then I'm jus another writer.
I can so understand how one feels when it feels like no one cares. Thank God I livved any way and now know many care.
luv, huggs, prayers,
emy

strong visual imagery and well written poem, jennie. we have felt that way, alone, no one caring, but there are those who care, even if we are surrounded by many who don't. we have to seek them out, my friend, because they don't always just come to us (nice as that would be).

Damn Jennie why you have to write like this? Why does life have to have so much pain and why have I written of pain like you speak of. Just think of all the people you’ll hurt the ones that do care about you. Life is hard and I know I’ve though of this but you got to fight if not for anyone then just for yourself. You need to love yourself and find pride in the things you can do in life. We all have a purpose whether we see it or not. Your write beautifully and your emotions are unleashed with so much pain and raw emotion and I really enjoy your work. Take care your in my thoughts Jennie and if you need to talk I’m here event though you don’t know me. I’m alone over here in Iraq and my thoughts have been this dark and darker for sometimes I feel like there’s nothing left for me. I find hope in my self and my pride in what I do no one can take that from me. Bye for now….Steve
