Your Dead to me.

Contributed by Shattered_soul on Sunday, 19th June 2005 @ 11:27:47 PM in AEST
Topic: FathersDayPoems

My sister calls you up
and you tell her all these lies.
Its been seven years
and still the pain is stabbing my inside.

You say youve always loved me;
from the day Id been born
till the day you die.
If only I could believe it
I might live a different life.

How am I supposed to say "I love you"
when you havent been here by my side?
You didnt help me up
every time I fell and cried.

You could have shown you loved me
I could have been in your life.
You could have quit the drugs
and be standing at my side.

I dont need you in my life,
not since I was at the age of four.
I dont need you here today
I have a father to call mine.
