The water shines beside you
And you're foolish with pride
A smile between us can't awake you
And deep inside I know you died
The more you see me truly
The side best taken with wine
I can see a happy ending
Where both our lives with intertwine
I know I can't be near you
But I accept this fate
The more the light shines in me
I hate for these lives to separate
The water pours all in you
It's cold and it heals the pain
I choke on all our anger
For that I am ashamed
A letter I wrote to you
To tear it up you must decide
I see both ways beneath you
To fall you must let go of your pride
The walls are cold without you
And inside I want to escape
I wish I could see you
But its so dark behind the drapes
This water will remind me of you
I know where I will find myself
I think of it often
And I think of no one else

This is a very beautiful poem, wonderful title and emotionally charged. Very well done!
