Draining Soul

Contributed by Waynster on Sunday, 19th June 2005 @ 06:15:34 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Forced to beg
Pleading on my knee.
Pouring my heart out
And this, you can not see.

Kneeling at your bedside
Touching you with a gentle loving hand.
you keep steering at the TV
Giving no acknowledgement that I am your loving man.

Inside I cry
My soul bleeds more and more
The love I am giving
There is no more in store

All the love in my soul is being drained
left with only a broken heart
You have no feelings
Nothing that you had from the start

We have two young boys
They are very dear to my heart
I have loved them from their birth
And will find it hard to part.

I can no longer take this
The pain you are putting me through
All I want is to love you
That’s all I want to do.

I want to kiss you
Make love to you and make you smile
I want to be loved in return
And not feel any denial.

Martina, I am pleading
For the love from your heart
I want us to be a family
Lets give it a new start.

To love the three of you
Means more then anything in this life
I am asking one last time
Please be my loving wife.
