All Quiet Here

Contributed by ForeverAndADay on Sunday, 19th June 2005 @ 06:06:02 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The pond shimmers...
Stars shine in the surface of the water...
The moon sends waves of silver...
Bounces off of her eyes.
There is nobody else...
Just her and her shadow...

God forsaken.
She is the spawn of both demon and
cast away angel...
Her eyes change from gold to black
Before her pray has time to react...
And she's a villian.
But he still loved her.

Her fingers trembled...
Her eyes leaked tears...
Salty, ocean of the earth...
He sat beside her...
Tried to make her see the light..
But deep down he knew...
She had never seen the light...
She was bred in darkness.

She sits on stone...
Raindrops cling to her hair...
Underneath...
A grave...
She smiles...
He was burried there...
She waits again...
Sometimes it's a long wait...
But it's always worth it when
she draws them in...

And she always catches her prey...

Once again
All quiet here...
