As you lie in bed
You ask yourself
Why shouldn't you be dead?
As you look to the next day...
Your heart is filled with dread
Be strong! Do not give in
For if you do
Does the devil not win?
Life is filled with torment and pain
It comes down on you
Like an icy rain
Though it hurts, you must push forward
As you take the gun, the knife, the rope
Understand...
There is still hope

wow... those who do not want to live... (ie me)
this is a great poem... filled with hope and promise... its just so hard to belive when you have been so used and tossed around your whole life and you still can't seem to find someone who cares. this poem brightened my day. thanx again and great job on this piece
