Depression

Depression

It’s the feeling you get when you aren’t loved
The feeling when some one gives you an unmeaningful hug
It rips at you heart
It tears out your lungs
At first you might cry
But then you realize
It’s the pain you have been suffering all throughout you life
No different or worse
No need to cause strife
But anger fills in side you
And you need to take it out on something
If you blame it on a topic
Like love
It makes you feel worse
When someone near to you experiences the one thing that you want
For somebody to love you
To call you their own
Somebody to cry to
Someone you take home
The one you share secrets with
The one who accepts you for who you are
And doesn’t comment on your faults
Just forget and moves on
They’ll tell you they love you
How I wish I could hear the sound
Of someone telling me they loved me
Not lying or saying it to cheer me up
But meaningfully saying those three words
Ones that have never truthfully been said to me
Ever

Poisonous Psycho:

****Your write is very deep and can hit home to many people out there. Its chocked full of deep meaning****

Depression can be a very lonely disease.. in itself, it expresses pain and emptiness.. and yes, sometimes one does feel like dying. It truly is being between a rock and a hard place.

Its hard enough on this planet trying to survive and then, having to do it all alone. The ones left behind can become very bitter when losing an earthly being...

Yes, I agree.. genuine truthfulness is needed.. sometimes words are not enough.. actions need to follow what is said.. Sometimes humans get caught up reversing much needed care toward each other..

Some people find it very difficult to put words together to fit a situation.

Some have difficulty in warming to others, especially when their heart is cold.

Sometimes humans move around like zombies.. The spoken word has no meaning, the actions are slow and without emotion.

Many times others are depressed within themselves and when they try to give, the receiver feels nothing because there may be nothing to give, when the ability to love, or show care toward the other person is blocked; all doors closed..

I say it all the time; thank the LORD for poetry. Perhaps it is not the total solution for the lack of human touch, but it is a very good tool to use when feelings are needed to keep us in touch with ourselves. Especially when we feel there is nothing left.

Yours Truly,

Raquel Leah (poetress)

This is such a rugged and honest write...Your emotions really poured out. I think sadly most of us have been here at one point or another...Not an easy thing, but with time hopefully things will improve for you...
Scorp.
