The alter may be life's mailbox,
Deposit your hope, elude the sly old fox.
Sure delivery, as prayer you send,
Tis certain, your plea he will attend.
Make your return address, his holy place,
Be a winning number in life's pursuing race.
Yes, only your knees, to send your mail,
That his precious honor may may always avail.
Sincerity in God, a winning clause,
In fear and supplication, a worthy pause.
So folks, mail a letter way up there,
It is not so far with an earnest prayer.
You should stop now and attend my mail,
This beautiful deliverance, to never fail.
