Dirty Little Secrets

Behind bushes, under stones, beneath beds, inside closets,
For all eternity she will find evils sad deposits.
Reddened eyes which peer out of the darkened cracks,
Her soul misses love and care of others--something much lacks.
Behind closed doors and inside the dark closets of her mind,
Dirty little secrets she will hide for no one to find.
The girl carries teddy with her everywhere she goes,
The tears she cries, but hides from all--nothing ever shows.
One cold, dreary day arose bringing out more fears,
That day the little girl perished and no one shed any tears.
The only memory of the girl they have is the nightmares she once had,
Leaving behind dirty little secrets making everyone sad.
