I reach into the dark abyss
Which I call life
But no one’s there.
It’s just and empty void.
No hands to hold
Or people to count on.
It’s just me all alone
In my despair.
I have my path to destruction
On a map inside my head.
All left to do is follow it.
There’s no way out.
You can’t escape the inevitable.
My path is already in progress.
I’m to the point of no return
With no one to help turn me around.
I thought you were the one
To take away the pain.
I was wrong.
You are just like everyone else.
Just out of my reach
On your own accord.
Taunting me and adding suffering
To my downward spiral of self-defeat.
I can’t be saved
Until I want to save myself.
But what’s the use
I can’t do it all on my won.
As I travel this road of self-destruction
With no help out.
I slowly kill myself
While everyone’s backs are turned.
Alone I am in this void.
Alone I have always been.
Alone I will always be.
Alone I will self-destruct.
Alone I will be.
