Thank you Dad,
for never being there
when I needed u the most
You just sat there to stare
Like everything was gonna be ok
Everything was alright
Didn't u hear the hatred?
Didnt u hear the fights?
Thank you Mom,
for atleast pretending u cared
for trying to make me talk
for all the fake laughs we shared
You shouldnt have gotten back with dad
shouldve stayed away from him
Didn't u see he lied?
He made our family's lifes dim
Thank you Bro,
for all the hurt and pain
all the bruises and cuts
for throwing me out in the rain
I cried tears of blood from you
yet u didn't acknowledge the abuse
Don't u know strangling me by the neck
is just as bad as when u tried a noose?
So by the time u all read this
You will know why I chose this fate
I couldn't live without the help I needed
My life was filled with nothing but hate
So let me try to explain
I just needed to get away from u all..
It's not that I didnt this to cause all u pain
I needed somewhere else to go
no fighting or someone going scream
This way is best I tell you
Atleast it is for me....

This is so sad the pain you write about is hard for me to imagine. I could say I understand, but that would be a lie the pain I wrote about is not about my family. One thing that is good even though they are annoying is my family. This is a really good poem you have great talent. Hang in there and keep yer chin up.

| I can totally relate to this poem. I have felt pain like this. I have also thought the same thoughts. I always just had to remember that it would only make their lives easier if I did that. |
