Until We Meet Again

Please may I have your attention as I state my intentions,
Poetry is a gift and so I belive, my world of words are what sets me free,
I write from the heart, a wounded soul that's been torn apart,
A rusted mask covers my face, a broken heart replaced by empty space,
Tears of blood run down my cheek, as other poets call me a freak,
So each poem I write is another chapter of my fading life,
A once proud man, forgotten like some foresaken land,
Has my story came to end, will The Phantom's words fade in the wind,
Not too long ago YPDC was formed, a poetry site for all to adore,
But as she's grown the comments and reads have come far and inbetween,
Older members like my self have been forgotten, covered in dust sitting on a shelf,
Great poets have came out of no where and rocked YPDC with the poems they've shared,
I love to read and write sharing our stories about our life,
So maybe it's time for this old poet to say goodbye,
I'd like to thank those whó have followed my poetry from day one,
Jenni, I send my love, Ladyfawn will always be a great one,
Wordpoet, a true gentalman and you know it,
Dreamweaver, Phantom's Lady, two other great poets,
Jason Robert Britt, and Kane, their dark poetry is great,
Oreo, though your not here your poetry I still hold near,
Mick thank you for giving me my start, YPDC will forever be in my heart,
I pray I will return, until then I bid ado, YPDC I love you.

U may not remember but a while back u gave me a peice of advice when i was gonna leave caise of some reason, those three words i never 4 got, and it saw me through you said" Just Keep Writting " well i did, now this is so sad 4 me 2 read u leaving, wow, i don't know u but thank you and may life always be as kind 2 u as u were 2 all of us with your poetry . .

| Hello. I don't understand why you are quitting. I'm pretty new to this site. I don't get alot of comments, but the "uplifting" or "inspirational " poems that I read keep me coming back. I hope you keep writing. Good Luck. |

Dear Phantom:
Even though I have not met you up until now, as I read your words, I am wondering to myself, and out loud to you in type, is there anything I can say or do to keep you from leaving. I am sad to think you will leave.
I have only been registered on this site for 5 days and I feel so much a family to everyone here. The poetry I read is so uplifing, so beautiful and peaceful. The constructive criticism and the friendliness from all writers is a blessing.
You are not ignored or left out. If anything I need you here, and I think all would agree. Give it some deep thought once more. I pray you stay here with us. You are very much a part of our poet family.
