Without You

Topic: SadPoetry

You are looking down
Watching us run around
Feeling hopeless without you
Wondering what we should do
Now, that you’ve left a hole
In all our hearts and souls
We all were left crying
Some gave up on trying
God took you to his home
Just left us on our own
You took a piece of me
And now I feel empty
My heart
Fell apart
You took a piece with you
Eric took one too
When he just ended
Our friendship
Others have snuck some pieces away
Also, I even lost a few today
I’m not blaming you, Marianne
It’s not like you were the one with the plan
But couldn’t you tell God, please
To steps killing my friends and me
I’m on my last piece of heart
And a friend holds that one hard
And I pray that he doesn’t shred it
Like others did
But, all that matters is that
No matter what
You are the one I miss today
The one I missed yesterday
The one I’ll miss tomorrow
In the early marrow
It’s hard without you
I don’t know what to do

Very touching & it certainly does tear our heart and souls apart when we lose a loved friend.

Ur poem was filled with a lot of pain and grief. I hope you find peace.
