14-1-04

Stepped off the curb and errant youth
No time for any but the girl on each arm
A flash of teeth and he sped away
Rain streaked windscreen and hard packed clay

So Nonchalant and easy
He's invincible or so he thinks
Chorus......................…………………………………………

Age catches you unaware
Once so young and rosy cheeked now stooped and grey
Age comes unwelcomed
Mortal like the rest man you'll slip away
Slip away

He stepped off on the fifteenth floor
All cares and worries for a brand new firm
A flashy office and a big contract
Drab grey life but mind intact

A step loose and he broke a hip
Not built for hurry with a cane on each arm
Flesh sagging smells of booze
Facing an end with nothing to lose

your ending, concept wise is good, but i didnt really like the fact that it all came about with a broken hip, even though that is very realistic. i think that this is the best line,
"Rain streaked windscreen and hard packed clay" it stood out and was creative to me, since ive never seen a line like it. some of this actually reminded me of avril lavigne and staind.
