when you have once loved a liar

Contributed by ladyfawn on Monday, 6th January 2003 @ 01:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

no matter what you say or do
they will make out like your misconstrewed
it doesn't matter how deeply they've hurt you
they'll continue trying to throw you in the blackened pool
the pain is quite precise
and for once they miss they'll do it twice
I know this poem is juvenile
but I'll be better after a while
aside from the fact there were witnesses

My dear friend Nessa, Why do you say your poem is juvenile, when it is brief and beautiful. Be cofident and root out the pain with willpower..venkat

Please don't feel this way ... from the poetry and comments you make you have such a beautiful spirit - don't wallow in pain and despair .... (oh my goodness, did I say that !! - don't wallow in pain and despair !!! - damn I wish I could take my own advice, but you know, sometimes it's easier to see from the outside in :))))) ...

Although this is a very sad poem ... it's a great poem and you should finish it ... Jan

You have finished writing this, Lady Fawn, by not finishing it. And I especially enjoy the unwritten happy ending. Excellent write.

Nessa, this is probably a late comment, but as I see it "better late, then never." This poem is anything , but juvenile. It speaks the truth. *S* Cynthia
