Hope is a gift to the hopeless,
a cup of coffee for the listless
nations who choose to regress
from progress for personal profit.
Capitalist ventures are all the same,
nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Ignore the depraved inflicting pain,
because their money makes them god.
Bussiness pleasures are sickly twisted,
making prostition an economy's gifted
savior, for those addicted
will pay any price for a Saigon whore.
As the focus lies upon religon,
abortion, medicare, these decisions
mask the fact that all we've given,
is not enough to save the world.
From those who pay our bills.
