Wanting But Not Getting

Contributed by Bec on Thursday, 16th June 2005 @ 08:11:08 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I've been so awkward, i've become so weak,
I know its wrong, how do i make it right?
To make this go away, how should i speak,
It wraps around like the cold and darkness of night.
The sadness keeps on crashing down on me,
Words cannot describe, these feelings i hold,
Buried so deep, that no one can or will see,
What does the future bring, what will it unfold.
How long can i keep this up, soon you'll be the past,
I ask myself again, why did i withdraw?
It's hard with you, things are moving so fast,
Truly, for me, this is my one big flaw.
To you my heart is oh so clearly sold,
Let me find the courage to be as bold.

You sound so sad ! Like know matter how hard you try, it just doesn't get any better. If you keep everything bottled up inside, the worse it gets... I hope you find the courage that you are searching for....

Good write.
I read this as you were hurt.
That you want the boy and don't want the boy.
That you want to be as rude as he was and perhaps get back then dump him or k-butt and let him rule you.
Again good poem.

Very sad and heart wrenching write and I love the last two lines, great ending.

I wish you all the best, may you have the courage.
