Insanity

Contributed by dorkfish on Thursday, 16th June 2005 @ 07:00:20 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Reailty gone
Past is present
Dwelling on old emotions

Jumbled mind
No sense of time
Believing ones own lies

Body tattered
Jittery movements
No real care for life

Reality removed
Insanity consumed
Lack of dreams and ambitions

Sleep deprived
Malnourished at times
Always wanting more

Weak and frail
No inncocence to prevail
Heading for disaster

Help is needed
Life is cheated
Unknowingly dying slowly

Loss of mind
No sense of time
Gone from reality

This is so sad because I am a recovering addict, and I know how it feels to be the addict, and to see someone you care about waste away. What's even worse is watching yourself waste away and no one taking notice. Good writing, Rikki
