The Truth about me

My hands searched his body unknowingly
I did everything he told me to
Everything.
I lost so much and when they aren't listening, I cry.
I give in now.
Give in to lust, to greed.
My own immortality makes me bleed.
I used to be so innocent
like a child.
What happened?
He led me down a path of abuse which ended with drugs, rape, alcohol and loss
Loss of my own virgin virtue.
I still am a seed, though
One that burns as it refuses to grow
I cannot grow,
Cannot leave my own prison of addictions.
Here I lie and drink him away.
I drink them all away
She closes her eyes and reaches for a tourniquet,
The needle only an inch away
but she stops.
I run my hands over his body and this time I know.
Know that I can stop.

A painful story this is, but don't let go of hope. And keep writing, by all means.
