You look at me as I stand in the corner,
you seem to think it's just a show.
But, understand it's more my home,
than any spotlight you could offer me.
You think this frown is some cover up,
for some smile you may have earned.
But, understand I see no truth,
in your cold deceitful eyes.
You think you hypnotise me,
seduce me with your moves.
But, darling I'll still be standing nonchalant,
when you have nothing left to prove.
