Gaining experience

Was I so blind I could not see
shield, a cloth that covered by eyes
Ignorance of a virgin child that was so nieve
To believe and give in to the worst of lies
But is it not better to know nothing
Than to live and know it all,
And was it not better to deal with the suffering
When my field of vision was so small?
Lovers that would last forever
Lovers that would last the night
Only my heart and soul would they sever
To be for a moment that I might
With all the experience of living
The shield was cast from my eyes
My heart stopped believing-
And the beautiful nieve virgin child inside dies.
