Junkie

Contributed by Rikki on Wednesday, 15th June 2005 @ 10:54:08 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

I have turned ugly.
This really bugs me because my recovery
Is so far in front of me
That it's nearly impossible.
I used to have friends,
Or at least pretended I did...
But the relationships I couldn't mend
Abruptly came to an end.
Just writing to fill lines...
Something else has occupied my time.
Someone whom I never thought I'd be
Has conquered me to the point I can't see.
I'm so numb.
All the situations I wrote about before
Seem like a bore compared to what
Has now brought me to the floor.
I can't be this anymore.
