That little ray of hope that says he’ll call
Everything will work out after all.
That little ray of hope that says he still cares
He’s thinking about me when he goes everywhere.
That little ray of hope that keeps me breathing
Makes me think positive and ignore what I’m seeing.
That little ray of hope that says his love is true
He’ll always be there no matter what I do.
That little ray of hope that says he just forgot
He’ll be around later in this exact spot.
That little ray of hope that has me holding on
A love I can’t forget even though he is gone.
That little ray of hope growing smaller by the day
I try to get closer, but he’s pushing me away.
That little ray of hope that is now barely seen
Making me forget to say what I mean.
That little ray of hope that is gone forever more
Although he’s away, he’s still the one I live for.

It sounds like you are pining over someone. I did that for so long, but that's when I wrote the most and found out about myself. Some things I found, I didn't like, but, at least I know. |
