My Sister, My Friend

Contributed by Sherah on Wednesday, 15th June 2005 @ 06:54:20 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

Here is a poem just for you
About my life and yours too
We had some good times in our live
Picking and teasing and those long drives
The times you said "just one more"
Hit me so hard I landed on the floor
The times we laughed so bad it hurt
Rolling around in the snow and dirt
Sharing the memory with you is neat
Something nobody could ever beat
Thank you for being a sister that cares
For always being the one who dares
There will be memories in times to come
In years that we have, we are not done
You are my Sister and my Friend
That will always be, there is no end

Beautiful! It's great that you and your sister have a relationship like that. I know it must have been hard for the both of you losing you mother, but it's wonderful that you two have eachother. After my mother passed my brother and I tried to stay close. It's important. Keep up the great writing. Your mother would be very proud!
