Our Pool Laid Dead

Contributed by Elayner27 on Wednesday, 15th June 2005 @ 01:28:34 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Why do you look at me with such harsh eyes?
You are the one who sees threw my lies.
You burn threw my eyes and into my head.
My mind ringing with what you have said.

You leave me now, without a good bye.
Your wishing I would cease and die.
I want to make all your wishes come true.
So know I'll end it all for you.

An angry kiss of metal iron and lead.
And soon my nightmare will fall dead.
Your dreams are coming true so soon.
As you sit by the pool in the light of the moon.

When you hear the news, if I only knew,
That you too would have wished I didn't do,
And that the guilt ate away at your heart.
Soon you too would commit this form of art.

You too, while sitting in the light of the moon,
Would end your world of nightmares soon.
With the soft kiss of metal iron and lead.
You also, joined me, and fell dead.

Sifting to the bottom of this endless pool,
We reunited in the never ending cool.
Swimming in no more guilt but in cold.
At least now we have found each other to hold.

In the pool, laid dead.
