Forever Free

Contributed by MissEm on Wednesday, 15th June 2005 @ 08:21:18 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

She never wanted anything more
Than just to sit upon the shore

To watch the water lick the sand
At the place where sea meets land

But time forces life to move along
And now her hope of peace is gone

Yet in her heart remains the sea
There alone she's forever free

I see what we have here someone new to YPDC. Welcome and what a great write to start yourself off here. It has few words but needs nothing more to say what it says. It also has a good flow and was much enjoyed. I look forward to more of your writes and will do my best to read them. Thank you for your comment on my work and take care….Steve
