Inner conflict

Ok, I know you've made some mistakes in the past.
You've punished yourself over and over.
This pain doesn't have to last.
You loved your child with your whole heart.
It's not your fault
Someone else tore you apart.
Ok, now I know what you're gonna say,
"I chose to sign those papers
and give my child away."
Well you know, YOU ARE RIGHT,
D.C.F.S wouldn't leave you alone,
They harassed you day and night.
Val, It's time to start loving yourself again.
You have to forgive yourself
and become your best friend.
PLEASE, stop living through this pain.
You did the best you could do...
You are not to blame.
Love always, your conscience
