And god so-
A hill lay silent whilst
a pauper gave a nickel
that bought color for another
that found banter quite exciting
is a world of greater meaning
that might be forever clearer
is the mind that finds a doorway
to a blessed mountain stream
that flows forever in the mourning
of a white september rose
Staple love to apathy with
threads of precious truth that
grant a seer realms of secrets
are the bane of all we see in-
side the earth forever turning
whilst the moon lies vainly
yearning for an instant worth
our while,
and so cursed us with guile
will destroy all decent people
are a mile separated is
the way that they so wished
inside a well of murky water
Find within this dreary dark
an answer to the storm that hast
destroyed us all but once before
and knocks so slowly at our door
that seldom opens anymore,
for inside we lay on the floor,
finding in our inner hearth,
that in his stead he
-mocked the earth

the earth forever turning

I like this piece very much... and the above lines enormously. I say this, I should confess, in part because I included "one phenomenal moment in the absense of time" in one of my writes a while back and because I am convinced still, as I was then, that all of everything can exist in a single moment.
Even though my commentary on the above lines is, I'm certain, entirely out of context - the whole of this piece was not overlooked. It is a terrific write... and I'm glad I didn't miss it.
