Time Alone
~~~~
On a bear skin rug
In front of a raging fire
Our combined spirits
Couldn’t get much higher
Tracing each others form
With our fingertips
Whispering sweet nothings
From our lips
It’s not often
We find time alone
With the tv off
And a unhooked phone
It’s a rat race
Most of the time
But tonight’s different
You’re all mine
Christian’s at your mothers
Supper dishes are put away
There’s no reason at all
That our clothes should stay
We’ll make love
Until the moon turns into the sun
Loving each other
Being as one
