While talking to a friend,
About an upcoming end,
I started chokin on popcorn
While trying to stifle a yawn
These seeds in my teeth
Have a nice blend.
Popcorn kernels stuck deep
Could create a new trend
I can't get rid of the salt
I keep telling it to halt.
I tried to gasp for air
As ooops, I inhaled my hair.
Now let's not forget the butter
It's so slippery it makes me shudder
I thought that would be better
But it dropped upon my pile of letters.
I'm eating, typing, trying not to laugh
With my friend, who's part of the staff.
I guess I'll be choking on this popcorn
From now until the dawn.
