I wish that I could fly
High up off the ground
Up into the clouds
Where there's no one else around
The only fear I'd have
Would be if I were to fall
Because the ground is so very hard
And I would be coming back to you all
I wish that I could fly
Far away from here
The painful memories
That even I can't bear
They keep on coming back
Through unwanted dialog
If only I could die
And go to where I belong

I think the ending was a bit distant from the rest of the poem, but I loved this piece none-the-less, keep writing!

i like this...i think we all wish sometimes to "fly away"...but you put it differently. most people say if they could escape, or runaway...but you made it sound more graceful in a way...i love it
