No imspiration

Contributed by Unheard_Mute on Tuesday, 14th June 2005 @ 07:24:48 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I'm just plain tired of never getting what's desired
And once it's acquired, the want's expired
Fired up emotions reduced to produce stress
My mind's a mess, unable to express any emotion
Devotion turned to mechanical actions
Reactions only fractions of past satisfactions
Like a nonliving living misgiving only living to live
Give up, gave in, unable to win, unwilling to lose
Produce a smile as an excuse while inside denial is not the style
Pile it on, colapse under the weight, too much on my plate for my appetite
Fight to feel, but only feel empty, no pleasure to treasure
Sex drive parked, no sparked fires ignited
Can't get excited about things which once delighted
Unable to get a stable happy streak, speak words unspoken
With only this poem as a token of a mind broken

Seems some can stuck in a rut. Thats when it is time for changes. Even if you have been sparked(which I found a good word), make it happen again, but slowly. Good write with very deep emotion of yourself.
