Stone gathered moss
Although it has rolled
Years of thoughts
But still one untold
All of the stiff
The shaky the cold
But still just one smile
In which I was sold
Have seen it before
Not new but rarely old
On blankets of loneliness
On which I don’t fold
Words that he spoke
Knew nothing of bold
A gaze meant to kill
A touch to unload
But warm turns to cold
Lies have been sold
But still just one smile
In mind won’t grow old

An intriguing poem that is very well done. I'm not sure if I got the message, but it appears to depict getting old physically, but remaining young in mind and thought....?
Good write
