Six feet beneath already,
In the darkness of my mind,
The scars hurt deeper than the skin,
Hate and love intertwined,
I curse myself for hurting,
Yet you should hold the blame,
Of all the things you hid from me,
You couldn’t hide the shame,
The light has faded in your eyes,
As I know it has in mine,
Don’t let the dark control you,
Just tell me we’ll be fine,
I need someone to save me,
I’m drowning in my tears,
I wish that you would come back,
Because I’m choking on my fears,
Every time I hear your name,
My heart painfully clenches,
Every time I see your picture,
I lower my defenses,
I’ve torn myself apart for you,
But what have you done for me?
You never loved me anyway,
Now I’m your debris.
