Dusk lengthens evening shadows,
And the midday-glare escaped,
I revel in solitude’s muted hues;
The Artist’s pastel palette awakens
My spirit to His as I wander creation.
My path undetermined, the trees –
Debonair gentlemen all – usher me onwards
As the haloed horizon inspires my imagination
To elaborate images of journey and adventure,
Forgotten childhood revisited.
Waning sunlight bows to the jewel-adorned
Darkness and now I turn towards home.
Houses aglow, their whispered cadence of life within
Delights my heart as I pass, alive and renewed.

such beautiful wording, such a great flowand i understand this one to its fullest.... i love this poem, creationis such a journey into the unknown, as the artist strives not to create butto humanly, emotiuonally document the creation that surrounds him |
