Cut me open
Spill my guts
And just expect me
To sew myself shut
That's what you do
When our lips meet
But before it's love
You just retreat
Am I your mistake
Or just your one night stand?
Cause it's hard enough for you to smile at me
Let alone touch my hand.
And if I am
What would you do?
I've caught your lie
And I've deserted you
But don't say you'll be fine
I know you better than that
When I'm gone, you miss me
Cause I have the one thing you lack
Love...

Hmmm. strong and raw feelings from a wounded heart. Love and lust are ambiguous feelings at any time,and you have captured the heartache and anger well.

PS: I don't really understand why people feel reluctant about being the first to comment on a poem. Its no reflection on you or your poem - some really crappy posts have people drooling over them, and many good poems have none! People are strange.
