Limbo

Don’t blame me if I seem amazed
The situation has me crazed
I thought we were a single entity
For a moment
I know we were connected
In that time it was perfected
You broke every oath to me
I only wish I had made you happy
I guess you never knew
How much I took of what you said as true
Soul mates through and through
I will always want to be there for you
Reluctantly your absence is accepted
But I state fiercely I miss you
I will admit to being upset
I put it down to the way you disconnect
I know there’s something you need to protect
You have had an affect
Irrespective of our outcome
You have my respect
