Myself and my mind
They drift apart
Lost in a love
It was ripped apart
Pain so dark
it swept up my soul
My life is left
With a future untold
I hear her voice
She comforts my soul
One touch of her lips
And I’d loss control
When did it come
And when did it touch
My life and my heart
And bring on this rush
This rush of lust
And emotions untold
As I dream of a lust
And a love we could hold
Hold or touch
Its all a dream
My mind speaks lies
And tells me I dream
Lies or truth
We are still such youth
Young and lost
Will our futures cross
Questions of hate
They flood my mind
Rip out my thoughts
As I’m lost in time
Secrets they burn
They torture my soul
I need to release
And give her control
Control to leave….
or control to stay
Speak my lies
With hope to remain
Hope to remain lost in her heart
For our futures together
Are so fare apart
Time will it pass
So slow it does last
Smiles and cries
My emotions I share
Pain in my life
That is so hard to bare
Kiss my lips
Speak my name
And you’ll comfort my heart
So my life can remain
I have dreams of kisses
As the shadows fall
Night approaches
To take away all

Nice job on this write Steve...As always, you managed to express yourself quite well. The lines; "With hope to remain, hope to remain lost in her heart, for our futures together are so far apart..." Well done...Good to see you back! Take Care.
Scorp.
