Another Day

Contributed by Man_On_high on Monday, 13th June 2005 @ 12:19:57 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

I etch these words
upon this page
in the name of life and mind..

Neither of which
I'd ever thought
that I was gonna find;

But by the light of another day,
I see what lies ahead.

It's time to leave behind me
all the emptiness and dread...
all the anguish.. all the woe..
all the pain and misery.

I'm writing now of something new
as you can plainly see.

But in the end,
I guess it doesn't matter what you say-
It only matters how you go
through each and every day.

M.O.H.

Billy, I have to agree. The past cannot be changed, only the future can. Excellent reminder to all of us.

Billy~
I'm so glad I came across this write of yours. It drew me in and left me inspired. I didn't want it to end. The past should stay in the past my dear friend. There are new horizons and a new experiences waiting for you. We are faced with many trials in our lives, but it's how we deal with them that matters. I know you have had it tough my dear friend and trying to numb ur pain with alcohol didn't help either. It never does Billy because once we sober up the pain resurfaces to slap us in the face again. You are an amazing person, but fear stops you from going further. Put it behind you my dear friend and watch new doors open up for you.
take care my sweet and dear friend. I'm always here for u.
love n hugs from ur devoted fan/friend,
suzie Q
